baby sitting

sharon offered to baby sit someone in the ward's kids tonight for 2 hours. that was nice of her! Especially with what happened afterwards... inside joke :-)

Cinnamon roles for the team

Sharon made cinnamon roles for my entire IR team. That was a ton of work and I love her for her sacrifice. Everyone loved the cinnamon roles and kept telling me to thank Sharon for them all morning. They were snarfed and the entire pan was gone by 10.

Cookies to work

Tomorrow is going to be a crazy day. Computers are going to be down and we are admitting patients. Sharon made cookies for me to bring to work to ease the pain!

dinner for a friend

the other day sharon brought a meal over last minute to someone she doesn't really know who asked for it. we're still not sure why they asked for it and are wondering a bit if they took advantage of sharon's generosity. Nonetheless Sharon was kind and brought them a meal and cookies. She has a kind spirit.

cinnamon rolls jealousy

a couple days ago Sharon stayed up until midnight making cinnamon rolls. Her dough wasn't rising so it took her longer than expected. She was a bit nervous about how they would turn out, but they were very good. Then today she sent me to work with a bunch of rolls to share with my internal medicine team. I think everyone was jealous of my sweet wife.

I love you more than before

Today Sharon told me that she feels like she loves me right now more than she ever has before. That is a sweet thing to say!

sweet blood

Sharon went outside today for 5 minutes while she was selling a stroller to somebody from craigslist. She got bit three times. She is so sweet it fills her blood.

Magnum ice cream

Sharon has always wanted to try these magnum ice cream bars. Got her some for mother's day and today she told me I could have one. If you know how good these are you know what a generous heart she has for me!

walk me to the bathroom

watched a sort of scary movie today... Sharon made me walk her to the bathroom after. I'm sure she was sort of scared, but I know she was partly just being sweet.

Such a sweetie

Can't look at this picture but think what a sweet wife I have. This picture was taken 5 years ago! Time has flown by.

Benefit of the doubt

Had the elders over for dinner today. One of them is sort of special. He is here on a mini mission. Sharon gave him the benefit of the doubt and treated him totally normal. I, on the other hand, probably acted a bit condescending. At least I was having those kinds of thoughts. Sharon is a genuinely nice person!

Ward missionaries

Sharon and I are now ward missionaries. It's fun to have the same calling. Our first assignment is a to make lots of phone calls to set up member lessons for the missionaries. Yesterday I did dishes as Sharon made phone calls. She used to be nervous on the phone, which I can understand since English is her second language. I hated using the phone in Taiwan. She did great, however, and I loved listening to her call people. She is so sweet and kind when she talks to people. It's hard to say no to someone like that.
