Dance stop go

Today Sharon was playing a game with Enoch where she would dance to the music when he said dance and stop when he said stop. It was very cute. And Sharon has way more moves than I do! I would have taken a photo but she didn't have any pants on :-)

Cinnamon roles for the team

Sharon made cinnamon roles for my entire IR team. That was a ton of work and I love her for her sacrifice. Everyone loved the cinnamon roles and kept telling me to thank Sharon for them all morning. They were snarfed and the entire pan was gone by 10.

Mashed sweet potatoe

Got home a little early today, which was fortunate because Sharon seemed to be having a bad day. She claimed everything she made for dinner either burned or turned out wrong, but she's always her worst critic. She made some delicious mashed sweet potatoes. I won't lie and say she's never made anything less-than-tasty... but that's a rare occurrence indeed!

20 books

Sharon read something like 20 books today with the kids over the past few days for the library summer reading program. Super mom!

Coconut cream pie

Sharon made a delicious coconut cream pie for her party today!

Party planning

Tomorrow Sharon is hosting a going away party for a woman in our ward. I would call their friendship casual at best, but Sharon found herself offering to throw the party anyway. She's got some good love in those bones, I think!

Water balloons

I always love seeing that Sharon had fun with the kids while I was at work.

Sharon's made 47 dollars over the past couple of weeks selling pies and brownies. Way to go!

Flexible part 2

Having fun with the kids. Sharon says Enoch is getting less and less flexible, just like me. Maybe there's still a chance for michael to be like mommy!

Pie master

Sharon made another delicious pie. This time with real Crisco it was truly delicious. She is the pie master!

Conversation

Sharon and I had a wonderful conversation today for about 3 hours. We talked about a lot of very personal things and it was so wonderful to have her there to talk to and to have her support and smart conversation.

Swimming

This is a picture Sharon took of Enoch's last swim lesson this week. Taking a 4, 2, and 1 year old swimming by yourself is not easy, and yet Sharon told me seeing Enoch swim to her with his face in the water was the best part of her day.

Sharon deals with this monsters all day. What a saint!

Blueberry pie

I really wanted a blueberry pie... and Sharon made me one! Thank you pie master! Delicious. Although we did figure out walmart crisco doesn't make as good of pie crusts.

Brownies for sale

Sharon is trying to do a little bit of work to finance a possible trip to China next year. She decided to try her hand at selling baked goods. She made mint chocolate brownies today and advertised them on facebook for $5 a dozen. I'm proud of her for putting herself out there. The fear of people not buying them or not liking them once they buy them would probably scare me into never doing something like this.

The best part of your day

Sharon and I started a thing where we always ask each other what the best part of your day was. In the past we always mention the good things that happened during the day, but somehow it's been kind of special to pick one thing out to share with each other that really made us happy. I think this will be a tradition that continues!

Taking care of the sick ones

This week Enoch Michael and Peter have all gotten sick. Nothing terrible, but they've all gotten fevers and gotten grumpy. Sharon is wonderful for being a great mother to them and caring for them while they've been sick.

Hot stuff

Sharon looked beautiful today. Many people complemented her, and I was proud to be the first when I saw her in the church parking lot with the kids after my morning meeting.

Going strong

Over half a year into her goal of reading the old testament this year, Sharon is still going strong. Somedays she doesn't get around to reading... but she always catches up. I'm proud of her

Moooo!

This morning Sharon made cow costumes for us all so we could get free chic filet meals. It was a lot of work on her part but it was really fun. She took the kids for lunch and then we all went for dinner. A fun day and memory!

Enoch has swim lessons this week and Sharon also takes Peter and Michael swimming too. That's a lot of work... Thank you!

romance

We used to kiss after the dinner prayer when we got married. Not sure when we stopped, but we haven't been doing that for a while. Sharon told me she wanted to start doing that again. I appreciate her communication and her romance!

Triple Decker

Sharon is making me my triple layer pbj according to my specifications for tomorrows lunch. What a woman!

Braids

You can't really see in this picture very well (and it's at the end of the day... she probably won't like me posting this!), but Sharon does some pretty cool braids in her hair. My favorite is probably the one she did last week which I don't have a shot of, but I appreciate the effort she puts into looking beautiful.

Children's museum ticket

Went to the Children's museum with Chase and Cait's family. Sharon did some library survery stuff ahead of time to get both us and then free tickets. That was very thoughtful of her!

Buy the meds!

For the past few days I've had a terrible rash due to poison oak in our backyard. Worst itching of my life. Due to some irritating reasons that I won't explain, my school insurance has temporaily lapsed for a few days right when I needed perscriptions for my rash. Without insurance it was only about $40 to buy the meds, but Sharon nonetheless didn't hesitate to urge me to get them despite the extra cost. I'm glad she loves me so much to want to make me comfortable and not worry about spending some extra money.

Decorations

Sharon decorated the house a bit today. I mean she bought the decorations and told me where to hang them. I'm glad she would go through the effort to make the house festive for a holiday that doesn't mean a lot to her.... but maybe it will someday! ;-)

Out with the missionaries

Went out with the missionaries today from 6:30 - 9:15. That's sort of a long time... and I was glad Sharon was so supportive. It's never as fun to put the kids to bed by yourself... but she did it without complaining. And her back/neck was still a little sore.
