Dreaming of hawaii

There is an intern year in Hawaii that I am applying to. I love that Sharon is excited to try and go for it. The kids are old enough now that it feels like adventures are much more possible. It's a treat to plan adventures with my sweet heart.

Retirement

Sharon retired yesterday from her dessert business. She's worked really hard and made a fair amount of money, but it was just taking up too much time and effort and not becoming worth it. I'm so proud of her for putting herself out there and selling her goods, which were very popular.

The RV

Sharon wasn't excited about camping, but she was willing to do it anyway. Luckily, I took her desires into consideration and we found an affordable RV to rent at an RV park. It rained for almost 2 straight days.... and boy am I glad I didn't force Sharon to camp with me in the rain for several days with three little kids. But it's pretty special she was willing to do it in the first place.

Today we went to the beach again -- third time in three weeks! Sharon was an animal and went boogie boarding 3 times. When we got home she vacuumed the house and just cleaned the bathrooms. And all that was while she says she's been feeling sick...!

Watched Sharon boogie board today and it was awesome. She was having so much fun and doing a great job for having such limited experience. She was so thrilled with each wave. Haven't downloaded todays pics bit thought this one she took earlier was hilarious.

Back to school

Sharon is doing a photography class that people are putting on at the church. Last night she was looking through our camera manual, doing her homework. She was really cute about it. I think it's great that she's putting herself out there to try something relatively new. I love that she's not afraid to try new things.

Snorkeling

We should be in Cozumel snorkling right now if all goes according to plan! I'm glad that you're fun and adventuresome and I can go out and play with you!

Ushmal ruins

If all goes according to plan, we should be touring the Mayan Ushmal ruins right now! I love that you are fun and adventuresome and we can go out and do things together!

Swimming

Sharon took Enoch swimming yesterday and Michael swimming today. She didn't grow up swimming, and I don't think it was until college that she really tried to teach herself. Swimming isn't very big in China, and she took it on by herself and learned. I think her ability to learn and do new things on her own is impressive.
