Had a nice conversation with Sharon about some difficult things that are going on. It means a lot to me that we can have honest, sincere conversations with each other. She is a great wife.

A good patient
I have a big standardized exam with fake patients tomorrow. I needed to brush up on my exam skills and Sharon humored me. Thanks for being my perfect little patient!

Bring me home ice cream
If the Houston Rockets win, there's a place in town that gives out free frozen yogurt. Sharon found out about this today and took the kids there after visiting teaching. She called me, asked what flavors and toppings I wanted, and brought me home a cup. I was glad she did! I don't think everyone would have asked if they could have another free cup to bring someone who wasn't there. I am glad Sharon thinks more about me than she does her inhibitions or fear of embarrassment.

Buoy
I don't often like to admit when I'm feeling stressed. When I do, I know I can count on Sharon to buoy me up. And that means a lot.

Beautiful Lunch
Sharon still makes me lunch every day when I stay home and study. Not only is she supportive, but just look at how pretty and well rounded the lunch is and you'll quickly see she's a super-mom.

Low Maintenance
Sharon just bought about 50 dollars of beauty products.... Lotions and masks and vitamins and such. It seems like a lot, but she proudly reminded me that she's actually very low maintenance. I haven't had any other wives to compare her to, but it probably is true that she does minimal spending on things like makeup and pedicures and massages and clothes and jewelry. She doesn't make purchases like this very often. So.... Way to be low maintenance!
Just don't ever spend any more money again

Appreciating Me
Today I did a family home evening based on CTR chutes and ladders. It seemed to go well. Afterwards, Sharon complimented me. Several times, she told me what a good lesson it was, what a fun game it was, and how good she thought it was for the kids. She was very genuine. I like feeling appreciated. That's a good thing for a wife to do.
