Children's museum ticket

Went to the Children's museum with Chase and Cait's family. Sharon did some library survery stuff ahead of time to get both us and then free tickets. That was very thoughtful of her!

Time with the kids

Today I got home a little bit early. Wasn't expecting to get home until after 7. Got to eat dinner with everyone. Afterwards I took the kids to play outside while Sharon did dishes. I'm grateful she did that and let me have that time with the kids.

Cupcakes

Sharon was up late tonight making cake and cupcakes for Enoch's party. She texted and asked if I wanted to bring any to my L&D team. Thanks for helping me get an edge on those evaluations!

Sleep all day

After working all night last night Sharon let me sleep during the day. I was impressed that the kids never came in and woke us up. Thanks for being so thoughtful and supportive!

Gift giver

We came home with quite a loot. Today we went to a donut party at a friend's house from the ward. Sharon suggested we bring their kids some gifts from Mardi gras. Great idea, and embarrassing it wouldn't have crossed my mind. Sharon is a thoughtful, giving person!

Ready to go

We are really excited to go on our cruise. And we're so thankful that my mom can come out and watch the kids for us. It's a a big and not an easy thing for her to come out and watch all of them all week. I've been impressed with how Sharon is preparing for it all. She's made detailed schedules and tips about how to handle Peter, made sure there's tons of diapers and baby food, made sure the fridge is stocked with food, and even made several frozen meals that my mom can use if she wants. She also made a schedule of activities that my mom can take the kids to. I'm not sure if this is going above and beyond, because it just seems right to do everything you can to make things easier for someone who is doing you a big favor, especially when it's family. Nonetheless, I'm glad Sharon is being so thoughtful and trying to prepare well. Not everyone would do that!

Lets me sleep in

Since I'm in school, my wife usually lets me sleep while she takes care of the kids at night. She never wants me to be tired and hopes I'll be able to study. Since I'm studying for my exams now, last night was no exception. Our baby was exceptionally fussy and up from 2-4. I slept through it all. During the holidays, there was a couple weeks where I wasn't studying. I would get up and try to help. Later, my wife asked me why I get up and walk around aimlessly at night. I guess that's all I was doing.

I'm grateful my wife is so selfless and thoughtful.
