Commitment

It's 11:40 and we just finished watching Captain Phillips. We are tired and want to go to bed. During the movie, I said something that made Sharon a bit upset. Despite all of this, Sharon is reading her Old Testament right now. I like that she is determined to fulfill her goal and her commitment to read, even when it's not convenient and probably not what she wants to do. I think it's impressive.

Reading the old testament

This year Sharon set a goal to read the entire old testament. Considering that English is her second language, I initially worried she was biting off more than she could chew. I know it's only been a week into the new year, but she's but doing great so far. I'm impressed she would make that goal. When she sets a goal, she achieves it. I'm proud of her for choosing this one!
